**Tell us a little bit about yourself
I'm the oldest of three children. I've been married for over 21 years to a wonderful man named Neal and we have four beautiful children (three girls and one boy): Rachel, Niall, Rhiannon, and Riley, and two pets: a boy gray tabby named Morris and a girl fawn English Mastiff named Drusilla (named after one of our favorite characters from Buffy the Vampire Slayer). My husband is a computer programmer and he loves sports. My kids are all in to music, choir, and sports (soccer, baseball, and softball) too. They also love art and writing so our house is full of artistic people! I have many friends from all over the world some of whom are similar to me and others that are completely different. I love them all! Currently, I'm a SAHM who volunteers in her spare time and plans on returning to school soon.

** What do you like to do in your free time, i.e., hobbies?
My interests include faith and spiritual issues, reading, writing (poetry mostly), listening to music (of all types), singing, playing the flute, movies, animals, long walks (usually along the beach), physical fitness, cooking, collecting turtle, elephant, and lighthouse figurines, RPG's (role playing games), travel, volunteering activities, teaching Sunday School, and socializing with my fantastic friends. As of recently, my volunteering activities have led to the wonderful opportunity to serve my community by volunteering for two different churches' Alzheimer's Respite Programs. This winter I am returning to college to finish up my nursing degree.

1) to gain a wider audience for my poetry and 2) to meet new and different people from all over the world!

Favorite breakfast: Quaker's Cinnamon and Spice Instant Oatmeal, a glass of orange juice and a cup of coffee (french press).
Favorite Lunch: Tuna Sandwich, salt and vinegar potato chips, and a glass of iced tea
Favorite Dinner: My mother's fried chicken, homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, peas, corn bread, and a glass of iced tea with lots of lemon.
Favorite Dessert: My husband's homemade dutch apple pie. No, I'm obviously not a health nut. :p

Too many great artists, albums, songs, operas, musicals, etc., to mention. A sampling of what I might listen to in the course of a week: Vivaldi, Mozart, Puccini, Andrew Lloyd Weber, Rogers and Hammerstein, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellignton, Caedmon's Call, Tenth Avenue North, The Guess Who, Jethro Tull, Staind, Breaking Benjamin, Emmylou Harris, Tim McGraw, Depeche Mode, Dido, Leonard Bernstein, Mary J. Blige, Moby, Beck, Prince, etc. The list is literally endless!
